Bin Responsibility Policy
Customer Responsibility for Provided Bins
Woodman’s Trash Removal provides a 96-gallon trash bin for use during service. The bin remains the property of Woodman’s Trash Removal at all times.
Customers are responsible for the care and security of any bins provided to their household. If a bin is lost, stolen, damaged, destroyed, or otherwise requires replacement due to customer negligence, misuse, or circumstances beyond our control while in the customer's possession, the customer will be held responsible for the replacement cost.
To help prevent loss or damage, customers should keep bins on their property when not awaiting collection and use them only for normal household trash.
By using our service, customers acknowledge and agree to assume responsibility for any bins provided by Woodman’s Trash Removal while they are assigned to their account.
Trash Pickup Guidelines
To ensure your trash is collected, please place your container out the night before your scheduled pickup day. Our crew begins early in the morning and each address can only be serviced one time per route.
Your trash container should be placed at the end of your driveway where it meets the road. The container must face the correct direction as indicated on the lid, with the lid opening facing the street. Please make sure there is a clear path between the truck and the container with no obstacles such as vehicles, trees, snowbanks, or other items blocking access. During winter months, containers must be shoveled out and not buried in snow.
Trash containers must not be secured with bungee cords, ropes, or attached to any objects. Drivers will also not collect trash that is blocked by or placed behind parked vehicles, so please keep the area clear.
Each service day includes only the amount of trash that fits inside your 96-gallon container. Extra bags or cardboard placed outside the container will be considered overages. These items may still be collected, but your account will be charged accordingly.
To avoid overage charges, cardboard should be placed inside your container whenever possible. If additional cardboard must be left outside the container, it should be flattened, broken down, and securely bundled together with tape.
Please remember to place your trash out each week to ensure regular service.
