Trash Pickup Guidelines
To help us provide safe, reliable, and efficient service, please follow these guidelines:
Before Pickup
Place your bin out the night before your scheduled pickup. Our crew starts early, and each address is serviced once per route.
Place your bin at the end of your driveway where it meets the road.
The lid opening must face the street.
Keep a clear path to your bin. Vehicles, trees, snowbanks, or other obstacles must not block access.
During the winter, please shovel and clear snow around your bin so it is easily accessible.
Do not place your bin behind parked vehicles or in an area where our crew cannot safely reach it.
Do not secure your bin with bungee cords, ropes, or other attachments.
Trash & Bagging Requirements
All trash must be bagged and securely tied.
Please use actual, durable trash bags. Makeshift bags, boxes, paper bags, or other containers used as trash bags are not permitted.
Loose trash will not be picked up. If loose trash is found in your bin, you will be notified that it needs to be properly bagged before it can be collected.
We remove all trash by hand, so please avoid making bags extremely heavy. This helps us safely and efficiently remove your trash.
Do not overfill your bin. The lid must close completely. Trash should not stick out of the top or prevent the lid from closing.
Overages & Cardboard
Your regular service includes the amount of trash that fits inside your 96-gallon bin with the lid fully closed.
Extra bags, loose trash, or cardboard left outside the bin may be considered overages and billed accordingly.
Please place cardboard inside the bin whenever possible.
If additional cardboard must be left outside the bin, it must be flattened, broken down, and securely bundled with tape.
Weekly Service
Please remember to put your bin out every week to ensure your scheduled pickup is completed.
Following these guidelines helps keep our routes running smoothly and ensures we can provide reliable service to every customer.
Accepted & Prohibited Waste
